Tolerates wind, sails well, steers comfortably: Bavaria Cruiser 51
With the Cruiser 51, the shipyard is completing the refurbishment and is launching a ship with a variable configuration for charterers and owners

The boat is available with three, four or five cabins. The highlight lies in the fore section: two smaller or one large cabin can be realised there with a flexibly installable longitudinal bulkhead. This should make it easy to convert the boat into an owner's yacht after its existence as a charter boat and thus make it easier to sell.

In the YACHT test, the Bavaria Cruiser 51 presented itself as an honest and solid cruising boat. It offers a high level of comfort with plenty of space and well-designed room layouts. The simple but effective deck layout proved its worth under sail. The boat can also be equipped with electric Revo winches from Lewmar. The helmsman can operate the genoa and mainsheet without touching them using the drums, which can also be fiddled at the touch of a button, and even tack the headsail; the winches do the work.
